NASA SPACE SUIT EXHIBITION BROCHURE

(Spring 2022) Layout Design Class Project

Client: Student Project

Challenge: Create a brochure to inform on the history of a man- made object. Must contain three distinct sections: one about the significance of the object, one on the history of an object, and a final section on the function of the object.

IMAGE EDITING • LAYOUT • TYPOGRAPHY

ADOBE PHOTOSHOP • ADOBE INDESIGN

This informational brochure was made to pair alongside a current Smithsonian Institution exhibition that covers the history of NASA's space suits.

The Smithsonian National Museum of American History has exhibitions in a wide range of topics including an exhibition with the National Air and Space Museum covering space suits. I wanted it to feel like NASA's refined "outer space" typography and color style while maintaining the intruging feel needed to keep the attention of the viewers with layout, and image placement.

The copy text was taken from a multitude of articles and the https://airandspace.si.edu/explore/stories/spacesuits site. The colors were chosen for their cleanness and simplicity.
